Junior Sales Engineer - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Masters Degree or PhD in Engineering will be a plus.
Fluent both in Spanish & English – minimum C1 level

As Junior Sales Engineer you will be is responsible for managing the sales relationship with customers, reporting to our Commercial Chief Officer.

The position will be based at our office in Spain (Santander area) but requires frequent travel –national and international areas–.

As a Junior Sales Engineer your main responsibilities will be to:
• Prepare, with the help of the technical department, technoeconomic offers.
• Track quotation/negotiation status.
• Negotiate and close sales.
• Provide pre-sales and after-sales support services.
• Expand customer relationship through effective communication and visits –national and international areas–.
• Initiate agreed proactive campaigns in target markets to search new customers and promote sales.
• Prepare and delivery commercial presentations.
• Manage and update the customers database.
• Attend to trade shows, conferences and other events –national and international locations–.
• Develop and implement annual sales plans with the Chief Commercial Officer to achieve commercial goals.
• Collect and report market information regarding price positioning, competitor activity, potential projects and market trends.
• Work in close relation with the Chief Commercial Officer to plan and execute marketing activities.
Required Education /Knowledge/ Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Masters Degree or PhD in Engineering will be a plus.
• Background in technical understanding from water treatment area will be a plus.
• Fluent both in Spanish & English – minimum C1 level –. Other languages will be a plus.
• Previous experience in driving sales
• Customer focus skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills –written and verbal–, both internally and externally.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex problems and to offer optimal solutions.
• Willing to travel frequently –approx. 25% of time– in national and international trips.
• With excellent intercultural skills.
• Good planning & organizing skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active and independent.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Driving license.
